WORKSHOP CRITICAL RAW MATERIALS IN EVERYDAY APPLICATIONS
Technologies and Policies for a Circular Economy on Rare Earth Elements
This workshop took place on 26 and 27 September 2016 in Brussels.
The scope of the workshop was to bring forward a joint understanding between scientists, the corporate sector and policy makers on the status, challenges and opportunities in creating a circular economy for the critical raw materials in Europe. The workshop had particular focus on the Rare Earth Elements due to their importance in modern green technologies and communication. Targeted workshop outcomes were: identification of research and policy gaps with respect to achieving a circular economy in which those critical elements are fully embedded, as well as recommendations to bridge those gaps.
If you attended the workshop we want to thank you for participating.
